5 DAY TOUR FROM TANGIER TO SAHARA DESERT

 We will pick you up from your hotel and we drive towards the city of Tetouan, an atmospheric city with a pretty medina , then we continue via beautiful Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen where we explore the medina with buildings painted in shades of blue. Overnight at a Riad.

Today we travel to Volubilis, a well preserved place from the 3rd century BC . After guided excursion we continue to the city of Meknes with its splendid plaza of Lehdim and the majestic gate of Bab Mansour. Afterwards we will drive to the city of Fes known as the cultural and scientific capital of the country. Our guide will take you to the Tanneries , then we visit the marvelous mosque and, the oldest university in the world “El Quaraouine”,with its beautiful decoration of the traditional Zelij. After lunch we visit the Bab boujloud, the main gate and the Madrasa bou Inania and, the mausoleum of Ennajarin. Overnight in hotel /riad in Fes.

After breakfast our 5 Day Tour from Tangier to Sahara Desert continues towards Ifrane ,with its European architecture, then we will visit Azrou as beautifully surrounded by the largest Cedar forests in Morocco. We will continue via the middle Atlas Mountains to Midelt , where you will enjoy a traditional lunch followed by transfer to Erfoud and Merzouga where we discover Sahara desert. We will experience a camel trek through the sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi , we watch the charming sunset ,we will approach our traditional camp, with local Berber music and dinner. You spend the night in a nomadic tent.

We wake up to watch the Sahara sunrise in Merzouga then we continue by riding camels back to the village for breakfast. We transfer you to Rissani then we visit Tinghir, and Todra gorges as the highest gorge in Morocco. After short hike within the valley, we continue to the Dades valley, for excursion to the rock formations called “monkey toes”. Overnight in Dades Gorges in local hotel or kasbah with dinner.

After breakfast, we visit Kalaat Megouna and the Valley of Roses, where we will visit the co-operatives that extract the rose water. We will continue to Skoura and Ouarzazate, enjoying the road of the thousand Kasbahs, and we visit Atlas studios. After guided excursion in Ait Benahddou we cross Tizi n’Tichka at 2260m and we reach Marrakesh where our Tangier tour finishes.
